Peacock Dress

This was a rendering done in my rendering class… the assignment was to take a picture of an fancy shoe we were given, and create an outfit to go with it. The picture I was handed was of these peacock feathered boots. Done all with watercolor.

For my Costume Production Class 1 and 2 I had to construct a 1780’s corset, underpinnings, and dress. I picked Marie Antoinette’s Chemise a la Rein dress.   • Red Carpet

    In my rendering class, we were given images of red carpet dresses and asked to render it with marker. I got Charlize Theron in this beautiful satin dress. The actual dress is below the rendering so you can see the comparison.  

  • Later the Same Evening: Costume Design Assistant

  • Wool Rasberry Beret

      This hat I made from wool and a brocade lining so I could wear it in the winter and be warm. I also covered the button on top of making the pattern and sewing the hat. It was inspired by Dougal’s grey hat in Outlander and Prince’s Raspberry Beret. The head circumference is 21… Read more »

    I did a wonderful photoshoot at a lighthouse in Maine. The water was incredible, and I just wanted to show the incredible energy of the water. These might not quite represent the awe of the movement, but I think they turned out lovely none the less. Here are some others:

  • Graveyard Statues

    At the end of Tower street in Boston, there is a huge graveyard with so many old and beautiful statues.

  • Summer Dress

      I ripped the pattern for this dress off a beautiful dress I found at a thrift store. It is a heavy cotton fabric, and has hidden pockets. I love wearing it, it’s wonderful in the summer time.
